We are Paws for A Purpose
Paws for A Purpose is about far more than just pet products - we are a social movement of pet lovers who also care about other people and their pets
|
We are a registered Australia charity.
And we are also a whole lot more. We are also a premium quality pet products company, and a social enterprise looking to change the world. We are about saving pets lives. (And not just through our products but through a range of initiatives that 100% of our profits, after costs, go towards.) We are about helping people who are less fortunate, to have healthy pets, so that they can keep pets too. |
We believe everyone should be able to enjoy the companionship that pets bring.
Rather than conform with the idea that people who are in disadvantaged circumstances shouldn’t have pets if they ‘can’t afford them’, we are about finding ways to help everyone look after their pets, so that with this companionship they can find their way to a better situation. |
We are about understanding how important pets are: for families, for young people, for older people, for homeless people, for disadvantaged people, for wealthy people and for people with less wealth.
We are about understanding how important pets are for everyone. |
We are about creating change
We are about working together |
We want to change the world, and we want to bring together the community of pet owners and pet lovers who feel the same way. We know how much you love your pets. And that you want to support others who love their pets the same way.
We produce the highest-quality pet products for pet owners who care about their pets and who also care about the pets of others. Then 100% of our profits after costs are channeled into projects that make the world a better place for pets and their owners, in particular for those less-well-off who need our support. Not only do we fund other worthy projects, but we also have a few projects of our own. Check out what we are up to right now on our projects page. Paws for A Purpose's directors are Dr Mark Kelman, Dr Michael O'Donoghue, Dr Victoria Hogg and Tracey Rai. Dr Kelman is also our CEO. The organisation was founded in 2016 and continues to expand with a dedicated team of volunteers, who want to see the world become a better place for pets and their loving owners. Currently, we are launching our first products into the Australian market, and continuing the advancement of our charitable projects.
